About Rogue River

Incorporated as the Town of Woodville on October 8th, 1910, with a Charter approved on May 1st, 1911, and the named changed to the City of Rogue River on March 12th, 1912, the City of Rogue River is located in Southwestern Oregon just off Interstate 5. Nestled along the banks of the Rogue River amidst forested mountains and tree-lined streets, this rural gem has been recognized as a Tree City USA for 43 years and counting. The City's current population is 2,419.
