Incorporated as the town of Woodville on October 8th, 1910. The City changed it's name to Rogue River on March 12, 1912.

Nestled along the banks of the Rogue River amidst forested mountains and tree-lined streets, this rural gem has been recognized as a Tree City USA for over 40 years and counting. The City’s current population is 2,419.
